Does your exotic plant look bad? Do you think your plant has a problem? In this guide you can find some common issues. This guide is for exotic plants purchased from Succora.
After-delivery care (first 3 days)
- Place your plant in bright, indirect light for the first 48–72 hours.
- Keep it in a stable temperature and away from drafts or heaters.
- Avoid watering immediately unless the soil is completely dry and the plant is visibly dehydrated.
Common after-shipping symptoms (and what they mean)
- Drooping or soft leaves: often temporary stress; give it light and time before changing watering.
- Wrinkles: often dehydration or root adjustment; water only when the soil is fully dry.
- Leaf drop: can happen after a change in environment; keep conditions stable and avoid overwatering.
Helpful tip
Most plants need a short adjustment period after shipping. The best approach is usually stable light + careful watering + time.
